Psychotherapy
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for individuals to explore the questions and issues which may be causing difficulties in their lives. People seek psychotherapy for many reasons, and the emphasis in our work will be exploring what is important to you, at a pace which suits you
About Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
The psychodynamic school is among the most longstanding of therapy approaches and it considers both a client’s past and present to discover what may be preventing them from living fully. This approach views the human mind (or psyche) as dynamic, with thoughts, feelings and memories interacting in many ways, aiming to bring these into awareness. I also draw on ideas from existentialism and other philosophies offering valuable guides on the task of living well
Contemporary Help For Mental Health
I am also mindful of the social and cultural forces surrounding us and the ways in which sexuality, gender, ethnicity, faith and class form us. I aim above all to build therapeutic relationships in which individuals feel able to speak about anything they wish to – perhaps the only space in their lives where they can do so. I have experience of working both with adolescents and adults, and with gender- and sexuality-questioning individuals.

Working Together & Fees
I offer a free initial phone consultation where we can exlore what has motivated you to seek help, with a further one-hour consultation charged at £50 to discover more about your search for support. If we agree to work together our 50-minute session will be held at the same time each week. At present I work online via Zoom and in-person in Oswestry, Shropshire. My fee is £60 per session, or £80 for those earning over £60,000/year, and I offer some concessionary spaces for individuals on low incomes. I request that fees are paid in advance of each session. After we choose to work together I will send you a copy of my client-therapist agreement which sets out information on confidentiality, holidays and cancellations.
Session Schedule
In-person sessions are held 3pm-6pm Mondays and 11am-6.30pm Tuesdays. Online sessions are held Wednesdays 12pm-4pm. Please note: I do not offer fortnightly or monthly engagements.
